    CHEEKS was formerly the TNT BAR which consisted of three bars. See LABELS - TNT Health Club - Comments

    This was a very high-end club back in the day. Crowds would gather at the entrance is hopes of "being selected" to go in. The interior was stunning and massive. There was a pool with floating candles.

    I was a bar waiter at the Tryst from the time it opened to when it closed. I remember a piano player/singer sing "Hot Nuts" in the fireplace lounge...GOOD times!!! And the Sunday brunches were great!!!

    Open at the height of the Disco era. Next to TNT Bath House on E. 8 Mile south of Schaefer/Coolidge, Detroit. John Jacob's was the owner.
