Alfies's (Gay Bar)

Alfie's was located on Woodward in Ferndale. I don't know anything about it. Ca. 1976. Share you stories about this place. *See Credits.

    I remember Alfie's. It was "the" place to go for breakfast after the bars closed. It was located on the east side of Woodward, just north of 8 Mile Rd. I believe an auto dealership is located on the former site. There was a crazy/funny red-headed waitress that worked there. I don't recall her actual name, but everyone referred to her as "red". She loved the gay boys and they loved her back!
